Mass where it matters

The dense polymer sheet adds mass without requiring a thick build-up. It can follow irregular substrates, wrap corners and sit behind finishing boards, while its fibrous backing supports cleaner handling and installation.

Installation principles
Continuity is more important than a single material.
Fix the felt securely to the substrate or frame, keep sheets continuous, overlap or tape seams as specified, and seal perimeters and penetrations with compatible acoustic sealant. Avoid rigid bridges through resilient channels and isolation hangers.
