Install the selected dry board, screed or floor finish above the resilient pad while maintaining edge separation around the whole room.

Installation principles

Prepare, cover, isolate and close.

Keep the resilient layer continuous and prevent the upper floor from making rigid contact with walls, columns, pipes, thresholds or other structural elements.

01PrepareClean and level the slab; confirm design load, finished height, services and perimeter conditions.
02LayRoll out or place the pads edge-to-edge, close joints and avoid folds, gaps or damaged areas.
03SeparateContinue resilient isolation at walls, columns and penetrations so rigid acoustic bridges are not introduced.
04CloseAdd the specified protection, reinforcement, screed or dry-board layer and then install the final floor finish.
