Metal-Faced Self-Adhesive Soundproofing Felt
A flexible high-mass damping sheet that combines an embossed metal surface with an E0-grade self-adhesive butyl-rubber layer for fast, continuous installation.
- Environmental grade
- E0
- Thickness
- 1.5 / 2 / 3 mm
- Roll size
- 0.5 × 10 m
Peel, bond and create a continuous acoustic layer.
The dense butyl-rubber base adds mass and viscoelastic damping to walls, ceilings, ducts and equipment surfaces. Its pressure-sensitive adhesive simplifies installation, while the embossed metal facing protects the surface and improves dimensional stability.
Two functional surfaces in one flexible sheet.
The exposed metal facing provides a durable embossed surface. Beneath it, the high-adhesion butyl layer conforms to the substrate, improves acoustic sealing and converts vibration energy within the complete assembly.
Three thicknesses, one practical roll width.
Select thickness and surface mass according to the substrate, required damping, handling conditions and the complete acoustic construction.
500 mm × 10 m per roll
Approx. 3 kg/m² for lightweight wall, ceiling, duct and enclosure damping.
500 mm × 10 m per roll
Approx. 4 kg/m² for balanced added mass, sealing and installation handling.
500 mm × 10 m per roll
Approx. 6 kg/m² for heavier-duty vibration damping and acoustic build-ups.
Designed for close contact with rigid surfaces.
Acoustic performance depends on substrate stiffness, coverage continuity, seam treatment, framing isolation, cavity absorption and final lining layers.
Walls and ceilings
Apply continuously behind framing or lining boards to add mass, damp substrate resonance and seal small air paths.
- Prepared rigid substrate
- Self-adhesive butyl layer
- Embossed metal facing
- Isolated frame or battens
- Final lining system
Ducts and enclosures
Bond to clean metal surfaces to reduce panel vibration and ringing in ducts, equipment housings and service enclosures.
- Degreased metal surface
- Full-contact adhesive bond
- Rolled seams and edges
- Mechanical protection where required
Layered acoustic systems
Combine with resilient mounts, absorptive infill and multiple lining layers when higher room-to-room isolation is required.
- Continuous damping layer
- Resilient connection
- Acoustic cavity infill
- Specified finish boards
- Perimeter acoustic sealant
Surface preparation determines bond quality.
Apply only to a sound, clean, dry and grease-free substrate. Position carefully before removing the release liner progressively, then press from the center outward with a roller to exclude trapped air and establish uniform contact.
Gold metal-facing before framing and final finishes.
The supplied project photographs show continuous coverage on walls and ceilings, followed by isolation mounts, support framing and final acoustic lining.

For vibration-prone surfaces and layered room isolation.
