Polyurethane Shock Absorber Pads

A continuous elastic underfloor roll that separates the finished floor from the structural slab, helping reduce impact noise, footfall vibration and rigid transmission paths.

Roll size
1000 × 40000 mm
Thickness
11 mm
Coverage
40 m² per roll
Continuous resilient separation

Reduce the rigid path beneath the finished floor.

The 11 mm elastic layer is installed continuously across the structural base before the upper floor construction is completed. Tight joints and isolated perimeter details help control impact transmission while protecting the finish from direct contact with the slab.

Confirmed roll specification

One practical format for continuous floor coverage.

The long roll supports progressive installation with fewer material changes. Final acoustic performance depends on the complete floor assembly, imposed load, joint continuity, perimeter isolation and selected finish.

Material advantages

Resilient protection for noise-sensitive floors.

Specify the underlay together with the load-spreading layer, perimeter strip and finished surface so the complete floor remains separated from the structure.

01Quiet

Impact and vibration control

The elastic layer cushions footfall and helps reduce structure-borne impact transmission through the slab.

02Resilient

Stable elastic recovery

The flexible roll follows the floor plane and provides continuous resilient support beneath the specified upper layers.

03Durable

Concealed floor protection

Moisture-resistant construction supports long-term concealed use beneath timber, carpet, stone and tile systems.

Construction applications

See the resilient layer inside three finished-floor systems.

The black underlay remains continuous above the slab and below the load-spreading or finish layers. Exact build-up thicknesses and materials should be coordinated for each project.

Timber floor system
01

Timber floor system

Use the continuous resilient layer between the prepared slab and the load-spreading timber-floor build-up to reduce direct impact transmission.

Carpet floor system
02

Carpet floor system

Integrate the 11 mm pad beneath the carpet and supporting floor layers where footfall comfort and vibration separation are required.

Stone and tile floor system
03

Stone and tile floor system

Combine the resilient pad with a stable load-spreading layer below stone or tile, while maintaining isolated perimeter junctions.

Installation principles

Keep every joint and perimeter resilient.

Clean the base, lay the roll flat, close all joints and continue isolation around walls, columns and penetrations. The upper floor must not create a rigid bridge back to the slab.

01PrepareConfirm a clean, dry and level base together with final floor height and imposed load.
02Roll outLay the 1000 mm-wide material progressively without folds, gaps or damaged areas.
03JoinKeep adjacent edges tight and maintain resilient separation at every perimeter and penetration.
04CompleteAdd the specified load-spreading layer and install the selected timber, carpet, stone or tile finish.
Applications

For floors exposed to repeated impact and vibration.
