Residential White Soundproofing Felt

A clean white, flexible high-mass sheet for adding acoustic damping and sound-blocking mass inside home wall, floor and ceiling assemblies.

Quiet build-ups for the home

Thin, flexible and made for concealed residential systems.

The dense acoustic sheet adds mass without a deep construction zone. Its white surface suits clean residential installation, while the flexible roll follows corners and sits behind battens, framing and finish boards.

Residential material choice

E0 environmental grade, specified for indoor fit-outs.

The supplied white felt is positioned for residential interiors where low-emission material selection matters. Request the current product test report and confirm compliance against the requirements of your local project.

Roll formats

Three thicknesses for different home build-ups.

Choose the roll according to required mass, handling weight, available depth and the complete tested construction.

011.2 mm

1 m × 10 m per roll

A lightweight added-mass layer for residential walls and ceilings where build-up depth is limited.

022.0 mm

1 m × 10 m per roll

A balanced option for bedrooms, home offices, music rooms and internal partitions.

033.0 mm

1 m × 5 m per roll

A heavier barrier for demanding wall, floor and suspended-ceiling assemblies.

Build the felt into a complete home isolation assembly.

Final acoustic performance depends on framing, cavity infill, resilient connections, perimeter sealing and the number of lining layers.

03

Suspended ceiling system

Integrate with isolation hangers, a metal or timber frame and absorptive infill for bedrooms, home cinemas and other noise-sensitive rooms.

Installation principles

Keep the acoustic layer continuous.

Fix the felt securely, overlap or tape seams as specified, and seal the full perimeter and every penetration with compatible acoustic sealant. Coordinate sockets, pipes and services before closing the system, and avoid rigid bridges through resilient components.

01PrepareClean, dry and level the substrate; coordinate services before covering.
02FixMechanically fasten with approved nails, staples, washers or framing.
03SealTreat overlaps, corners, sockets, pipes and the full perimeter continuously.
04CloseAdd cavity absorption and specified lining layers without acoustic bridges.
