Integrated Acoustic Treatment for a Large Open-Plan Office

Suspended polyester absorbers, geometric PET wall panels and acoustic desk screens create a calmer large office with better focus, speech privacy and team communication.

Primary acoustic problem

What the space needed to control

A large open office combines many simultaneous conversations, phone calls and workstation sounds beneath an exposed services ceiling. Without sufficient absorption, sound travels across desk neighborhoods, reverberation raises the overall noise level and employees experience reduced concentration, weaker speech privacy and greater listening fatigue.

Installed solution

How the system addresses it

Large circular and organic-shaped polyester absorbers are suspended across the open ceiling to capture reflected sound over the workstations while preserving access to lighting, ventilation and building services. A full-height geometric PET feature wall adds broad lateral absorption, and upholstered desk screens control direct sound between adjacent workstations. Together, the layered treatment reduces reverberation and speech propagation while giving the office a coordinated visual identity.
