Primary acoustic problem

What the space needed to control

Hard tables, flooring, glazing and the overhead skylight reflect speech and dining noise into the booth. In a busy restaurant, this reflected energy raises the local background level, makes conversation more difficult and allows sound to spill between the booth and surrounding dining areas.

Installed solution

How the system addresses it

Wood slat acoustic panels with porous backing wrap the booth at seated head height and above, placing absorption close to diners and interrupting reflections between the main wall surfaces. The upholstered bench provides additional local absorption. Together, these elements reduce speech build-up and improve table-to-table comfort while preserving the booth's open connection to the restaurant.
