Home Cinema with Fabric Acoustic Panels and a Star Ceiling
Deep charcoal fabric-wrapped acoustic panels and a fibre-optic star ceiling create an immersive private home cinema with clear dialogue, controlled reflections and a dramatic low-light atmosphere.
What the space needed to control
Multiple loudspeakers in a long, enclosed cinema generate strong side-wall and rear-wall reflections. Without coordinated treatment, these reflections cause comb filtering, blurred dialogue and unstable surround localization, while excessive absorption in only one frequency range can leave the room sounding uneven or unnaturally dead.
How the system addresses it
Large-format fabric-wrapped acoustic panels cover the side, rear and screen-surround walls to absorb broadband reflections around both seating rows. Their soft porous construction shortens decay, improves dialogue intelligibility and stabilizes surround localization without introducing distracting glare. Above, a recessed fibre-optic star ceiling creates an immersive low-light feature while keeping the projector, loudspeakers and architectural lighting coordinated within the cinema design.
